Treasurer’s Report: Club funds are at $17,165.18 with $2,049.55 in Handicapped Fund

Old Business: Recaps provided to members on Wounded Warriors, USO Golf Outing, Kips Bay. Terry and Bob worked a USO activity in Hartford and there was a USO Street Fair on 6^th Avenue in NYC. Nick reminded everyone of the upcoming Bergen Bassmasters Open Buddy Tournament on Hopatcong on 7/31 and asked for the volunteers to confirm. He also warned that the Marine Police will be out and that anyone ticket will be disqualified. All members wishing to fish the Mahopac tournament need to pre-pay the $20 launch fee and provide their license plate numbers to Jayson prior to the tournament. The club hopes that Rob Curtis will write up a recap of the Wounded Warriors event for submittal to the New Jersey Federation for Club of the Year honors.

New Business: John Williams advised that those members who ordered the tournament shirts needed to pay him as he would get the monies to Nick Albano. There is a BFL tournament on Cayuga next week if anyone is interested. There was universal clamor for new tournament weigh-in bags. Nick is asking that the club donate $100.00 to help the USO staff pay for a room/meal at the USO Open in Plattsburgh and the motion was passed by the club. The club is advised that the Econo Lodge in Plattsburgh is offering their rooms for $80.00/night. Dougie tossed around the idea of an after-Saratoga Tournament event on, maybe, Bomoseen/St. Catherines. Mark advised the club that Daiwa is donating a rod and reel combo to the USO.

Tournament Committee: Payouts were made for the Hudson tournament and the drawing was held for the Mahopac Tournament.
