Directions to local area ramps All Connecticut Lakes, follow these beginning directions to Route 684 North.From Montvale rest area, head North on the GSP into NY until the end. Follow signs for 87 east/Tappan Zee Bridge. Stay on 87 east and go over the Tappan Zee Bridge. After paying the toll, go about 1/2 mile and take exit for 87 east. Proceed on 87 East until exit for 684 north. All directions begin with a departure point of the Montvale Rest Area on the Garden State Parkway. Highland Lake CTFollow

above directions to Route 684 North. Twin Lakes - O'Hara's LaunchFollow above directions to Route 684 North. Stay on 684 North past exit for Route 84. This will become Route 22 North. Follow Route 22 North for about 45 minutes. Route 44 will merge into route 22. Stay straight on 22. After a sharp bend in the road and a t a traffic light, Route 44 east splits off. Make a right here onto 44 east. Proceed on route 44 east a few miles. A road will merge in from the left and there will be a boat ramp sign. Make a left here and follow signs for the boat ramp, about 3/4 mile. Lake will be on your left side and O'Hara's Marina will appear directly in front of you. Lake Lillinonah - Steel Bridge State LaunchFollow above directions to Route 684 North. Take 684 North to Route 84 east. Take Route 84 east to exit 7 (route 7). This will be a left hand exit Stay on Route 7 a few mile until the end. Make a right on to route 202 north. Proceed about 1/2 mile on 202 north to intersection with a traffic light and a Texaco station. Make a right. Go about 2 miles next traffic light. This is a major intersection with a large church on your right. Make a left. Continue straight about 1.5 miles. You'll go right over the lake over a Steel Bridge. Launch ramp is immediately on the right after the bridge. Candlewood Lake - Squantz Pond LaunchFollow above directions to Route 684 North. Take 684 North to Route 84 east. Take Route 84 east to exit 5. Off exit, proceed through stop sign and continue straight through traffic light at the bottom of the hill. Continue straight. At traffic light by a major shopping center, continue straight(by bearing left). Stay on this road until you get to a Mobile Gas station on your RIGHT hand side and Make a right at that traffic light. NOTE: You will pass a Mobile station on your left, continue straight. Continue staright on this road as it bends around. You will see the leke on your right. Squantz Cove launch ramp will be on your right directly across from a fire station. Lake Hopatcong - Lee's ParkTake GSP south to route 80 west. Take route 80 west to exit 30, Howard Boulevard. At bottom of the ramp, make a right onto Howard Blvd. Proceed straight up the hill for about 2.5 miles. Lee's Park will be on your left hand side. Lake Mahopac - McDonald's MarinaFollow above directions to Route 684 North. Take exit 8 off of Route 684, Hardscrabble Road. At top of the ramp, make a left over highway. Stay straight and follow signs to Lake Mahopac. You will bear left twice at forks with these signs. You will cross over a reservoir, stay straight until road ends at route 6. Make a left onto route 6 south. Go about 1/4 mile to next traffic light and make a right at the Mahopac library, immediately after a CVS pharmacy. Road forks 100 feet ahead, bear left. McDonald's Marina is on the right. Connecticut River - Salmon River State LaunchGo over Tappan Zee Bridge to Route 95 North Take Route 95 North to exit 65 (95 mi) From exit 65, take Route 153 North to rt 9 North (5 mi) Take Route 9 North to Route 82 North (6 mi) Take Route 82 North and proceed over Bridge (3 mi) After Bridge bear left at Route 149 Salmon River Launch Ramp is approximately one mile on left Saratoga Lake, NY - State LaunchTake Route 87, NY Thruway North to Exit 24, Northway Take Northway towards Lake George/Lake Champlain to exit 14. Off exit, make a left onto Route 9P (Union Ave). Take 9P about 1 mile to the lake. Cross over the lake and make first left into launch ramp. Hudson River - Ulster Landing LaunchTake 87 North to Exit - 19, go all the way around the circle after the exit to Route 587, at the end of 587, 1.2 miles take 32 North for about 4 miles to Ulster Landing Road, you will see Nick Roberts Marine at the corner where you make the right onto Ulster Landing Road. The launch is 1 mile down the road, make a right at the silver fence ( Charles Ryder Park )
